PEAS' Outdoor/Edible Education Programs: PEAS' Outdoor and Edible education program provides a PEAS' trained specialist to schools to lead cross-curricular lessons that have a sub-focus on nutrition, health and science in the garden. PEAS will lead these activities in gardens and green spaces or kitchen classrooms on each school's campus, with the classroom partner-teachers' participation. While the students are receiving engaging, hands-on lessons, teachers are further developing their roles as outdoor leaders. PEAS enables schools to fully utilize their gardens and natural spaces for student centered learning.
